To set a key combination, first select Action from the drop-down menu, click on the box under it, press Ctrl and the desired key at the same time. In addition, many shortcuts are already used by the software (Ctrl+F to find a player, Ctrl+T to find a tournament, etc.), thus we ask you to avoid using those combinations, as the system will not overwrite the original settings.
Thus, if you set Shift+F to Fold, for example, any time you write a word in chat that contains F in it, the software will recognize it as you wishing to fold. The reason for this is that the software will perform hotkey action any time a specified key is pressed. To avoid any errors, use Ctrl+ combinations, rather than single keys or Shift+ combinations.
